The Autopilot mode enables the vessel to steer along a selected course by accurately and automatically controlling the vessel's heading. This mode uses the vessel's propeller(s) and rudder(s) or azimuth thrusters. The Autopilot (Heading control system) has a mark of conformity (wheelmark) in accordance with the Marine Equipment Directive (MED) - European Council Directive 96/98 EC on marine equipment. The vessel speed can be controlled either from the joystick on the operator panel or from manual levers (requires the K-Thrust thruster control system).
