Well, all of us know that all engines are always constructed in full accordance with the different recognized standards as well as technical specifications, sometimes not optimized to meeting the initial design. For the technical performance of the engines to be maximized, they shall be duly balanced and blueprinted to the tolerances  that the fabrication facility have adhered to.

In this publication, the experienced and recognized expert builder of the engines Mike Mavrigian has made an attempt to describe and illustrate the most discriminating techniques of the engine building. Though the balancing and blueprinting are quite time consuming processes, the investment in time will eventually pay off with the outstanding performance of the built engine. This volume is covering all parts of the engines including blocks and crankshafts, pistons, connecting rods, intake manifolds and cylinder heads, camshafts, tools used for the measuring and, of course, final engine assembly techniques.

The balancing and blueprinting have been treated as an accepted and commonly established practice for maximization of the engine performance for more than fifty years. Specialists who are investing their time resources to make up the engine precisely in this manner, will be rewarded with a good performance results.
