This last part of DP Training presentations addresses the dynamic positioning systems power and thrusters. The previous parts of the training set covered the DP Applications and DP Incidents and we strongly recommend you to get familiar with the content of those two presentations in order to get better understanding.

The authors of the presentation have included numerous practical examples and have well illustrated the booklet so that it could serve as a good and easy-to-use training manual.
The approach used by the author has remained unchanged and this training source can easily be used by the non-experienced personnel willing to know more about the DP systems, their construction, their operation, application and potential consequences of the failure in these systems.
