This publication is one of the several volumes of the Book Series on Hydraulic Machinery which was released by the International Editorial Committee. It mainly deals with the technical aspects of the abrasive erosion and corrosion of the various hydraulic machinery. The theoretical information and practical subjects were taken by the authors from the engineering reality. We know that the abrasive erosion damage is among the most important technical problems for the hydraulic machinery. The book is divided into seven chapters covering fundamentals of the erosion theory, calculations, analysis and numerical simulation of the two-phase flows, hydraulic machinery design, erosion-resistant materials, corrosion, and interaction between abrasive erosion and cavitation processes.
