This nice and useful work by Urs Daniel Engels offers its readers a truly in-depth professional analysis of the Ship Recycling Convention which was adopted in Hong Kong in May 2009. The book is also intended to provide all interested people with a global overview of the rules applicable to the recycling of ships. The author of this volume has evaluated numerous proposals by EC that are addressing the current important problems of the recycling procedures.
