THE GOUGEON BROTHERS ON BOAT CONSTRUCTION
|D O W N L O A D|
Here is the latest fifth edition of the publication first released back in 1979 to provide readers with the good introduction to the most effective wooden boat building techniques. The main focus was made by the author on mating wood with the epoxy in order to form a good composite with the physical characteristics of the material that would be superior to the components.
Another feature of the composite should be its potential to withstand the effects of moisture. The narrative text is very simple to understand – the author describes how any single person possessing some tools and wood plus some epoxy material, could turn out an excellent boat. The experienced boat builders, in turn, will find lots of useful information which they can use for production of the technically sophisticated boat hulls.
The material in this edition of the volume has been arranged in a new order, so there are now six sections covering the basics of the construction, introductory information, production and boat building techniques, most effective methods used for boat hull construction etc. The explanations provided by the author are remarkably straightforward and easy to follow so the book will be of great practical use for any boat builder.
