This training video released by Videotel and accompanied with the booklet provides required training on the bunkering. The bunkering operations are always very intense and challenging for all people onboard. It is often conducted when the crew members and supporting engineering personnel are all heavily pressed for both shortage in manpower and time available for the operation.
That is why it is critically important to ensure that they receive required training and are proficient in preparation for bunkering of the vessel, sampling and measurements conducted in the course of the bunkering process, bunkering itself and operations following the bunkering plus contingency planning.
The content of this training program has been significantly updated and improved. It is intended to be watched and read by all crew members and is now duly reflecting the changes in the bunkering market that took place over the last decade, including newly introduced sampling technologies and latest requirements of sixth annex to the MARPOL convention. The program is compliant with the relevant international legislation, and is highly recommended not only to the crew members but also to the future mariners.
